Cole Grissom: Mr. Grissom is a Texas native who recently graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music where he studied under Metropolitan Opera soprano Ms. Patricia Craig. While at the Conservatory Mr. Grissom performed numerous roles in the Graduate and Undergraduate Opera programs including; Papageno in The Magic Flute, Betto in Gianni Schicchi, The Lord Chancellor in Iolanthe, Bartley in Riders to the Sea, and the Baritone soloist in The Saga of Jenny: a Kurt Weill Review. Other roles include the Marquis in La Traviata, Bartolo in Le Nozze di Figaro, Pistola in Falstaff, Basilio in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Melchior in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte, Marcello in La Boheme, Mephestopholes in Faust, Nick Shadow in The Rakes Progress, and the title roles in Tartuffe, Le Nozze di Figaro, and Don Giovanni. In concert he has appeared with the Redwood Symphony Orchestra as their annual concerto competition winner singing a set of arias by American composers, and as Maximilian in their production of Candide. He has also appeared as the Baritone Soloist in Henry Mollicone’s Beatitude Mass. Upcoming engagements include Dulcamara in L’elisir d’amore, and Dandini in La Cenerentola. He currently studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Mezzo- Soprano Catherine Cook.
