Elizabeth O’Neill: Mezzo-soprano Elizabeth O’Neill is a co-founder and Director of San Francisco Parlor Opera.  Her roles with San Francisco Parlor Opera include Cherubino in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and Dorabella in Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte.  Elizabeth earned both her Master of Music in performance and her Bachelor of Music from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California.  Her Pocket Opera stage credits include Isolene in Offenbach’s The New Woman, Giovanna in Verdi’s Rigoletto, ensemble in Offenbach’s The Bandits and in Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffman. Elizabeth’s NDNU stage credits include Nicklausse in Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffman; the Sorceress in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas; Cupid in Offenbach’s Orphée aux Enfers; The Third Lady in Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Cinderella’s Stepmother in Sondheim’s Into the Woods. Elizabeth was also featured in NDNU’s New Composers Recital where she performed an original song cycle based on the letters of her late father.  Before studying classical singing Elizabeth was bassist, guitarist and vocalist for the San Francisco-based rock trio Fish or Fry.  Fish or Fry performed regularly in San Francisco and toured the Pacific Northwest and Southern California. They were also featured in the San Francisco Underground Band Calendar and released three recordings.  She currently is under the vocal tutelage of James Toland.
