Patricia Soria Urbano, Soprano, recently sang the roles of Marguerite (Faust) Fiordiligi (Cosi Fan Tutte) and Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) with San Francisco Parlor Opera. In February, Ms Urbano made her debut with West Bay Opera covering the leading soprano role, Euridice (Orfeo ed Euridice). Highlights from previous seasons include Diana (Henry Mollicone, Emperor Norton), Pamina (The Magic Flute) with Pocket Opera and Despina (Cosi Fan Tutte) New England Conservatory.
Ms. Urbano was featured as the soprano soloist for Henry Mollicone’s BEATITUDE MASS, a work written to raise funds for organizations for the homeless. Ms. Urbano was a recipient of the Mim Babin Scholarship Award from the American Musical Theatre Artist Institute, as well as Redwood City’s Concerto Competition Winner. Ms Urbano holds a MM from The New England Conservatory where she studied under, Metropolitan Opera Soprano, Patricia Craig. Upcoming engagements include Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni) with San Francisco Parlor Opera. Ms. Urbano currently studies under the tutelage of San Francisco Opera’s Mezzo-Soprano Catherine Cook.
